Hosting a great Pool Party

With Spring on the horizon outdoor activities and warmer weather are right around the corner. Sapphire Pool & Spa of Sacramento has put together a fun guide to utilizing the pool in your back yard and answers host that Pool Party everyone will be talking about!

Guest List: Be sure not to leave any VIPs off the list while being conscious of the space you have and the size of your pool. Having a large crowd is fun, but to many people in a pool is unsafe and plain no fun. Keep your list to a small group to ensure you and your guests have a great and memorable time.

Supplies:

Floaties (for those younger party animals)

Water

Towels

Shade

Do not forget the sunscreen! Remember even the person who says they never get sunburned can end up with damaging effects from too much direct sunlight.

Invitations: You could just send a text to let everyone know but sending out invitations especially with your kids as a fun activity together can add that special touch making another day at the pool a day to remember.

Refreshments: Make sure you have plenty of water on hand, always remember to stay hydrated especially out in the sun. Putting a cooler by the pool with iced down bottles of water is a great way to provide easy access and that reminder to your guests to stay hydrated too!

Snacks: Instead if chips and sweets try doing a meat and cheese board, a vegetable and or fruit tray.
